How it works: There will be three titles awarded in the Miss division: Miss Bluegrass Area, Miss Commonwealth and Miss Fayette County. There will be one title awarded in the Teen division, Miss Bluegrass Area Teen. To compete in the Teen division you must pay a $60 entry fee.

Who can enter? Any young lady between the ages of 13 (8th grade student) and 17 (Junior in high school) can compete in the Teen division.  The Miss division is open to any young lady age 17 (high school senior) to 24 (who will not turn 25 prior to September 30, 2004).  This pageant is open to applicants from anywhere in the state of Kentucky.  You do NOT have to compete in another pageant to be eligible for this pageant.  Contestants competing for the first time this year are eligible to compete.  For more information see the contestant information link above. What do the winners receive?   This pageant is a local program within the Miss America Scholarship Organization. The Miss America Organization is the largest source of scholarships for women in the world. The winners of the Miss division will each receive cash scholarships. The winner of the Teen division will receive her entry fee paid to the Miss Kentucky Teen pageant.
